Thank you, Novartis team volunteers!

A huge thank you to the amazing Novartis team from Emeryville for joining us at Lake Merritt Institute in early October for their annual community service day! Despite the heatwave, the team’s dedication to cleaning the lake truly shined through. We appreciate everyone showing up and adapting to the weather by starting the shift earlier to beat the heat. Your efforts help keep Lake Merritt beautiful, and we are so grateful for your continued support!

We invite teams to schedule their community service days with the Lake Merritt Institute before end of the year. This is a crucial time when increased rainfall washes more trash into the lake through storm drains, making our cleanup efforts even more vital. Whether it’s a corporate group or a community organization, your team’s help can make a big impact in keeping Lake Merritt clean and beautiful. We’ll work with you to find a convenient time, rain or shine, to get involved and contribute to the health of this important ecosystem. Reach out to us at info@lakemerrittinstitute.org.
