We’re excited to shine our Ray of Hope spotlight on the amazing Park Day School students this month! This spring marked their fourth field trip to the Lake Merritt Institute (LMI) this school year. As part of our Watershed Field Trip pilot program, these students have been learning hands-on about water quality testing and lake stewardship across the different seasons at Lake Merritt.
To thank them for their dedication to cleaning up the lake and protecting our local ecosystem, we surprised them with a special day out on the lake. We’re so proud of their efforts and grateful they could experience the impact of their learning outside the classroom, helping to keep Lake Merritt healthy and thriving!
