This summer we got to throw a very special appreciation event for our A-Team volunteers. With their weekly commitment coming out 52 weeks of the year, rain or shine, they do much of the heavy lifting of removing the tons of trash out of Lake Merritt. As of August, 2024, we’ve removed a total of 41,670 gallons of trash so far this year.
All of our activities were a hit and thought we’d share these great low waste event ideas:
- White elephant regift
- LMI Bingo with bottle cap markers
- Raffle tickets for party decor to take home
