A New Gator for a Cleaner Lake Merritt

Gator allows us access areas of the lake that are unreachable by truck, enabling us to remove even more pollution.

We’re excited to announce that, thanks to a grant from SmartWater last year and generous donations from our members, the Lake Merritt Institute was able to replace our stolen gator. This new gator is important to our mission of reducing our carbon footprint and keeping Lake Merritt clean.

The gator will allow us to access areas of the lake that are unreachable by truck, enabling us to remove even more pollution.

Your support has made this possible.  Thank you for helping us protect and preserve Lake Merritt!
